Meant as a sort of spiritual successor to the original Better Blocks, Better Blocks and Items Mod 1.4.7 is a collection of small modular changes to the properties of certain vanilla blocks and items. Each component is stand-alone and can be disabled or re-enabled separately from all of the others:

How to Install Better Blocks and Items Mod 1.4.7

  1. Download and install Modloader.
  2. Download the Better Blocks and Items Mod
  3. Drag the contents of the .Zip into your minecraft.jar
  4. Make sure your META-INF is deleted.
  5. Enjoy!
